TechDeck Record does not collect, store or share any personal information.

What stays on your device

TechDeck Record records video and audio from the cameras and audio inputs you choose. Recordings, cue logs, profiles and settings are saved only on your Mac, in the folders you choose, and are never uploaded.

The app connects only to the show control, lighting, sound and video systems you set up on your local network, to read cue and console information for the picture.

• Camera and Microphone: to record the show.
• Local Network: to connect to show systems such as QLab and lighting or sound consoles.
• Screen Recording: only if you choose a screen or app window as the second picture.

No tracking

The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or accounts, and it uses no third-party services. Nothing you do in the app is sent to TechDeck or anyone else.

Permissions

The app asks only for the permissions its features need. You can change them at any time in System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security on your Mac.

Children

The app is a professional production tool and is not directed at children. It collects no information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
